This can happen if you are using a business computer and have a network security policy that does not allow .exe files to run from the AppData folder that we use. You are able to add the necessary files, but your computer won't be able to use them.
To test this, try to run the vsee.exe file from AppData. If VSee is able to launch, this is not the source of your issue.
Windows 7:
1. Click on your Start menu in the lower left hand corner (the Windows icon) and then search for%appdata%. You should see the Roaming folder appear.

2. Open the folder that you find, and look for a folder called VSeeInstall.
3. Double-click on the file called vsee.exe in this folder. (If extensions are hidden on your computer, you won't see ".exe" but it's the same file.)
Windows 8:
1. Click on the Windows icon in the lower left-hand corner of your screen.

2. When it brings you to the main menu, click on the search icon in the upper right-hand corner (outlined in red).

3. In the search field, enter this: %appdata%
You should see a Roaming folder appear as an option. Click on it.

4. Open the folder that you find, and look for a folder called VSeeInstall.
5. Double-click on the file called vsee.exe in this folder. (If extensions are hidden on your computer, you won't see ".exe" but it's the same file.)
If VSee does not launch, or gives an error message regarding your network's security policy, you will need to ask your IT team if they can make an exception for "vsee.exe".
