Windows 10
1. End your session.
2. Click into the search bar in the lower left-hand corner of your screen to search your files and folders. Search for "Device Manager" and then click on the name in the search results.

3. Click on the arrow next to "Sound, video and game controllers" to expand the menu. Right-click on "CyberLink WebCam Virtual Driver" (or a similar name with "CyberLink" in it) and select "Disable".

4. Start your session again.
Windows 8
1. End your session.
2. Click on the Windows icon in the lower left-hand corner of your screen. (If you don't see this icon on your screen, use the key with the Windows logo on your keyboard.)

3. When it brings you to the main menu, click on the search icon in the upper right-hand corner (outlined in red below).

4. In the search field, enter "Device Manager" and select its name in the search results.

5. Click on the arrow next to "Sound, video and game controllers" to expand the menu. Right-click on "CyberLink WebCam Virtual Driver" (or a similar name with "CyberLink" in it) and select "Disable".

6. Start your session again.
Windows 7/Vista/XP
1. End your session.
2. Click on the Windows icon in the lower left-hand corner of your screen to search your files and folders. Search for "Device Manager" and then click on the name in the search results.

3. Click on the arrow next to "Sound, video and game controllers" to expand the menu. Right-click on "CyberLink WebCam Virtual Driver" (or a similar name with "CyberLink" in it) and select "Disable".
